Lee Vandergust

Lee Vandergust is an associate at Peck and Company, where she practices criminal and administrative law. Lee was called to the bar and joined Peck and Company in 2021, following the completion of her articles with the firm.

Born and raised in Collingwood, ON, Vancouver has been home since 2014. Lee completed her undergrad at McMaster University in 2012, where she spent a year abroad at the University of Copenhagen and spoke on behalf of her Faculty as Class Valedictorian.

Prior to attending law school, Lee worked as a Court Clerk at the British Columbia Supreme Court and in 2020, she received her Juris Doctorate from the Peter A. Allard School of Law. During law school, Lee received the top grade in the Allan McEachern Advanced Trial Advocacy Course, worked as an Academic Research Assistant to former Dean, Mary Anne Bobinski, and completed the Judicial Internship Program with the British Columbia Provincial Court. During her articles Lee had the privilege to assist with the historic appeal of R. v. Tallio.

Having also lived in the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Ontario, and Alberta, Lee brings a resourceful, patient, and empathetic approach to her practice. Outside of the office Lee enjoys running marathons and hiking in the mountains with her dog.
